Our CO₂ Absorber is a food-safe, high-efficiency solution designed specifically for pickle and kimchi fermentation. It actively absorbs excess carbon dioxide (CO₂) generated during fermentation, preventing package inflation,
container deformation, or bursting. Ideal for commercial producers and home fermenters using sealed containers, bags, or jars.
How It Works
The absorber contains finely processed, food-grade calcium hydroxide (Ca(OH)₂). When placed inside the fermentation container, it chemically reacts with CO₂:
Ca(OH)₂ + CO₂ → CaCO₃ + H₂O
This irreversible reaction converts CO₂ into harmless calcium carbonate and water, maintaining optimal pressure.
